The Publish to a Web Page… option on the Sharing menu is available to document owners so they can publish their documents to the Internet. You can choose to print or copy the associated URL, or email it to yourself. To embed the document in a web page, blog or wiki, click the Copy Embedding Code link at the bottom of your published document. The code will be stored to your clipboard, so that all you have to do is paste it into the new location. If you make changes to a document after publishing it, you will need to publish it again to make those changes visible online.
Document owners can also choose to unpublish their documents, which will render the associated URLs invalid. Click Unpublish… on the Sharing menu.
Note: Once a URL is associated with a document, that association is retained forever. Therefore, if you publish, then unpublish, and then publish again, the associated URL will remain consistent.
Once a document has been published, all document users can select Show Published URL… on the Sharing menu to view the associated URL.
