Create and open documents

Documents are easy to create and open from the WebspirationPRO Starter screen.

  • To create a new document, click the Diagram or Outline button, and a new "Untitled" document will open, in which you may begin work immediately. You may rename the document at any time by either selecting Rename from the Document menu or selecting the rename document title box Untitled located in the upper right corner. If you forget to rename it, and you go to close, share, tag, distribute or publish the document, you will be prompted at that time to rename it. If you close your browser window before you rename your document, your Untitled document will be saved and available in your Document Manager. You may also rename a document in the Document Manager by selecting it and clicking the Rename button Rename Button on the toolbar.
  • To access templates and examples, click the Starter Docs button. Select the templates you want to open from the Starter Docs tab of your Document Manager. Click the Examples tab to choose from examples. 
  • To open an existing document, click the Open button or Manage Documents, which will take you to the Document Manager, or click one of the links to quickly access documents that have been recently opened, recently updated, or ones you have been recently invited to share.

 

  • To get to the Document Manager from an already open document, click Manage Documents   on the Main toolbar or select Open on the Document menu and choose one of the options.
  • You may also open documents you have been invited to view or collaborate on through the messages you receive or while viewing them in the Message Center.
