In Diagram View, you can create bubble diagrams, flow charts, concept maps, process flows and other visual representations of your thoughts. In Outline View, you can take notes, organize work and expand ideas fluidly to develop your writing into plans, study guides, papers, reports, and other more comprehensive documents. The two views are integrated, so you can easily switch back and forth without losing any of your ideas. You can work on your own or collaborate with others, co-creating visual diagrams and written documents.
WebspirationPRO can be used by anyone, but is mostly used by business professionals and college students. Business professionals use WebspirationPRO to brainstorm, diagram, outline, plan, organize, and write, while working independently or collaborating with others. College students use WebspirationPRO to organize materials, study, write papers and work in project groups to pool and create knowledge together.
Though Inspiration for the desktop and WebspirationPRO share some similar tools and functionality, they are two different products. However, if you are working in WebspirationPRO, you can upload to or download from Inspiration. See Inspiration Desktop Files in Help for more information.
If you have a preexisting personal or trial Webspiration Public Beta/Webspiration Classroom account, you can click the Move Documents from Another Account button in My Account Settings to move documents to the new account and remove them from the old account. Alternatively, you can log into your old account and use the Collaboration Panel to invite your new account to collaborate on selected documents, then you can use the Manage Sharing settings to make your new WebspirationPRO account the Owner of the shared documents.
WebspirationPRO is intended for professional and college use, while Webspiration Classroom is intended for educators and students in K-12 school environments.
Webspiration Classroom includes student resources and teacher resources to support teaching and using visual thinking in the classroom. The Webspiration Classroom service also includes administrative utilities that allow schools to configure and control student access and use.
WebspirationPRO gives users full and unlimited access to their accounts and doesn’t put any restrictions on collaboration and sharing.
Access to the WebspirationPRO server is strictly controlled via firewall. Your documents will remain private unless you invite collaborators and/or viewers. Robots and spiders can't get to your documents, so they won't appear in any search index.
When multiple users are working on the same document, WebspirationPRO automatically switches them between active and inactive states, so that their edits do not conflict. See the Multiple Users Editing the Same Document topic in Help to find out how this works.
Invitations are sent via email, so the invitation might have been (incorrectly) flagged as spam. Please ask the invitee to check their junk mail folder. For users who already have an account, even if the invitation was not received, the document is still shared and will display in the Open Document dialog when the Shared With Me radio button is clicked.
For new users, you can either re-invite them or have them go directly to WebspirationPRO.com/trial and sign up for an account. After their account is created, they'll be able to see the shared documents the same way as described above.
Yes. You can roll your document back to a past revision. This copies the revision to the top of the history listing, leaving all other histories intact. Choose Rollback while in the Select Document History dialog or click the Rollback button on the main toolbar while viewing an older revision.
Yes. The Chat function makes the collaborative capability of WebspirationPRO even more powerful. When multiple users are working on a WebspirationPRO document, they can use Chat to discuss their work while actively editing or viewing the document.
Are you able to connect to other web sites? If not, it might be your Internet connection that's the issue, in which case you should contact your ISP, or perhaps wait a few minutes and see if the problem clears up on its own. If you can connect to other web sites but not WebspirationPRO.com, please email us at email@example.com and we'll do our best to help resolve the issue.
If you lose your connection for some reason, you can continue to edit offline. When you reconnect, you will have the option to discard your changes or to save a copy under a different name (you cannot choose to have your changes override the server's version).
